Lori Irsay, nationally recognized expert in hair replacement for the past 29 years, has received countless awards for her many contributions to the community, including a key to the city of Highland Park Illinois. The Better Business Bureau of Chicago and northern Illinois made Lori the recipient of the 2005 Torch Award given for excellence in marketplace ethics and business integrity. Lori proved her value to the community by earning a LUCI (Leading Us in Commerce and Industry) Award from Lake County Illinois for Personal Service.

Lori opened Salon 475 her first business with the intention of being able to reach a wide range of people in need of her specific services. After a short period of time Lori saw the need for a hospital program. She expanded her services by creating Special People with Special Needs. Lori began doing an image enhancement hospital program for the many patients unable to travel to her location. Soon a community outreach program evolved to educate other professionals dealing with the human side of illness. As a result of Lori's successful outreach program, she became an integral part of a group forum, including oncology nurses occupational therapists, nutritionists as well as cancer survivors.

In 2007, fourteen years after opening Salon 475, Lori added "Look Alike Solutions" in the Wisconsin area. For years clients had been traveling from Indiana and Wisconsin to utilize Lori's services. With this second Wisconsin location Lori could help care for many more clients who struggled with cancer and other illnesses.

Lori Irsay understands the needs of those affected by hair loss. She treats clients with alopecia and trichatilomania; however, not only those suffering from hair loss due to illness can benefit from Lori's services. Lori fits wigs for a variety of clients with a variety of needs. She knows what her clients need and works very hard to meet their individual needs. Her many awards speak for themselves, but so do her satisfied clients.
